Stile Edge Is Closing For The Christmas Holidays

To all of our Valued clients.

As of Wednesday the 23rd of December 2009, we will be closed for business until the 11th of January 2010.

Our last day of production is basically today, (the 21st of December) and our annual clean up and factory tidy up begins tomorrow.

This basically means that all of our machinery gets a thorough clean-up and the BIG maintenance work begins for all of our tile edging machinery.

In a nutshell production basically ends today.

We were going to stay open for a full day on the Wednesday the 23rd for any last minute Pick up’s and Deliveries, but have decided to change those plans to finish for the year around 12.00pm.

The Half Bullnose.

This profile is by far the our most sought after edging.

Why?

Simply because it looks good in just about any application that you can think of.

Pool builders and designers love it, it’s perfect for stair nosings, skirting tiles are enhanced by it, it finishes sill tiles to perfection, patio and balcony floors receive a professional look, etc., etc.

And what’s more, it’s the most economical and has the fastest turn around time of all the Stile Edge products.

Another plus for the Half Bullnose is the wide range of tiles that it can be applied to.

Besides all of the fully vitrified tiles, it can also be used on a wide range of glazed ones also.

In fact there are hardly any tiles that this profile cannot be used on.

The Full Bullnose Laminate Tile Edge

The Full Bullnose Laminate Tile Edge

The Laminated Full Bullnose is a chunkier, more traditional profile for those who prefer a thicker and more prominent look on their tile edging.

As it’s name implies, this edge is achieved by cutting a strip of the same type of tile and laminating it (by clamping and gluing) to the underside of the edge of the tile.

When the epoxy glue has fully dried, the tile is then put through the bullnosing process and honed or polished as required.

You will need to allow for significantly longer lead times when ordering the Laminated Full Bullnose due to it’s labour intensive nature.
